Back to Bahrain where we saw F1 ‘s first repeat winner of 2025. Congratulations to McLaren’s Oscar Piastri! The race in Sakhir was a great opportunity to enjoy a delicious Middle Eastern spread. We began with a crudité platter that included Cucumbers, Pita and Whipped Feta Dip; followed by a Rocca (radicchio) Salad, Bahraini Chickpea Kebabs and Chicken Shawarma. Our dessert was Aish El Saraya, which translates to “The Palace Bread,” a luscious bread pudding flavored with vanilla and orange blossom. In a nod to the golf tournament being played “down the street,” and simultaneously watched with the race, our cocktail was a riff on the traditional Master’s Azalea Cocktail using pomegranate…simply lovely.
