The Azerbiajan Grand Prix cuisine assignment is unfamiliar and challenging, but inevitably, Baku turns out to be an incredibly exciting race and a favorite menu each year. Caitlin was our grillmaster and prepared grilled chicken kebabs with fresh veggies, pita and tzatziki. I couldn’t have been happier with my first attempt at baklava, which may get the ”Best of the Year” award. Our cocktail was a Baku-inspired riff on a Transfusion that we christened a Baku-fusion.
