We were so elated to see Lewis Hamilton win his home race at Silverstone for the ninth time! Lots of happy tears in the house after the British Grand Prix. Race day showcased a traditional British spread, but with a decidedly Southern twist to honor our Independence Day. Caitlin treated us with a delicious, crispy version of baked fish and chips, while Maureen’s cheese and onion pie featured Georgia’s Vidalia onions. A bit ‘o coronation chicken salad, Jelly Babies, Digestive biscuits and a potent tea cocktail were the perfect accompaniments. The party concluded with a lemon drizzle cake to celebrate Jamey’s 32nd birthday. Wishing him all the best and much love.
