I did not need to be so hyped up on caffeine and sugar for the last minutes of the Austrian Grand Prix, but there you have it, the Austrian experience. It was a party of one for the race with the family away for my nephew’s wedding, Shout out to Aly and Jay, the bride and groom! I’m still grounded, but much better, after surgery for a detached retina. Viennese coffee, Tiroler Gröstl (Austrian hash) and my grandmother’s wiener hörnchene cookies (Viennese crescent cookies) made up my breakfast. I’ll be up for days!
