Grand Prix Gourmet

Drink rosé and picnic Monaco-style was the theme for Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix. Pan Bagnat, picture salad nicoise on a baguette, a green salad with homemade French dressing, watermelon-radish salad with feta and mint, and macarons made us feel as if we were in Monte Carlo, minus the yacht.

• Pan Bagnat

Watermelon Radish Feta Mint Salad
6 cups seedless watermelon
3 radishes, sliced
¼ cups red onion, diced
1 cup Feta, crumbled
¼ cup mint leaves, roughly chopped
2 Tbls. lime juice
½ tsp. salt

Cut watermelon into bite-sized chunks. Add remaining ingredients and give a quick toss.  Serve chilled.
