Grand Prix Gourmet

A great race day for the Austrian Grand Prix. We shared a Brettljause, which is an Austrian meat and cheese board featuring some rather unusual and unpronounceable spreads and toppings: Kürbiskernaufstich a pumpkin seed cream cheese spread, Leberwurst or Country Paté, Grammelaufstrich an Austrian bacon spread. We included lots of delicious meats and cheeses along with fresh veggies, breads and crackers. Finishing touches included apricot and raspberry thumbprint cookies, chocolate cookies and a cool, refreshing spritz. Quite a mouthful in more ways than one!
